Hey guys
We know, we know, has been some time you have heard from us on here...but... oh well let’s skip the excuses J
Important things first: We have a car (pics are on), it is old and ugly, but it drives (and brakes) and will bring us around in New Zealand. So when you check it out you will see it is quite an old (1992) Toyota, babyblue, even with 5 tyres. We also decided to insure it, because believe it or not you don’t NEED to ensure your car in this country.
Laura finished her temp work and had a great goodbye party from her colleagues who got all plastered and are hoping that she will still one day apply for a permanent job with them...which is not likely to happen. At the moment she is cleaning the house as Hanna (the famous sister) is coming this weekend and will be staying for some weeks.
Obviously Alex is working hard (at least one person needs to earn money for us hehe) and has managed to become apart from other things (which will take ages to list them all here, as it seems like he is doing exams every week) a distance Microsoft trainer!!!! Yuuppieee....
We also put some nice pictures on the site from our last trip through the country (Lake Ferry) and although we were amazed (again) how many sheep there are in this country Laura managed to not even take one single photo of them. Instead we took pictures from some amazing high waves around the Wairarapa coast region. Absolutely amazing there.
We even had nice sunny and lovely warm weather during the last couple of days, although unfortunately it really is getting colder every day.... winter is coming.... and that with houses that are not even isolated (going to be F U N!!). But we are proud owners of about 5 heaters which we have placed in prime locations throughout our flat so no worries.
At the moment there is a big comedy festival taking place in Wellington and we even decided to look at some... Kiwis are strange... better say no more!
We hope you all are doing great and ... big news.... we will be over during August so get the parties started J!!!!
